Coordinated school health works to improve children's lives by Teaching children how to live healthy lives Providing health services to children Expanding teacher training Keeping schools free of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs Making schools free from violence and gang activity The goal of the coordinated school health program is to eliminate health-related barriers to learning so that teachers can teach and students can learn.
