Principal - Mr. Russell Fugate
Welcome to Tracy City Elementary School, The faculty and staff of Tracy City Elementary School are pleased to welcome you to our school. As the partnership between a child's home and school is one of the most influential and most powerful impacts on a child's life. The Tracy City Elementary School faculty and staff accept the challenging role of assisting your child in reaching his or her academic potential. Every child is important to us and we are committed to providing a positive learning environment which is clean, safe and developmentally appropriate for our Pre-Kindergarten through grade eight students. We pledge diligent efforts to structure learning with stimulating opportunities for every student to develop cognitively, physically, and emotionally, as well as develop positive peer relationships. Tracy City Elementary School encourages in every student an appreciation for our diverse society and mutual respect for and sensitivity to the needs of others. We strive to develop a positive attitude of self-worth and dignity regardless of ethnic or socioeconomic differences. Tracy City Elementary School and the Tracy City community will always work together to ensure success for our students. Tracy City Elementary School prioritizes student achievement. We understand children construct knowledge. We provide students with opportunities to learn, practice, and apply fundamental skills with real-world connections. Teachers plan using Tennessee PreK-Grade 8 Academic Standards as the basis for all instruction. Faculty and staff maintain high expectations and frequently monitor and assess student progress in every core subject. We believe in every child. No child will be left behind. Every child will read, write, compute and communicate effectively. Tracy City Elementary School is a place where: "Failure is not an Option, Excuses are Unacceptable, Excellence is our Goal!" Thank you for visiting, Russell Fugate, TCES Principal |
